We want you to know when we collect and store what data and how we use it. We will protect your personal data as best we can and only use it in accordance with our data protection declaration. We have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that data protection regulations are observed both by us and by our external service providers. Below we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of data collection and use.

§2 E-mail and newsletter

2.1 Single Sign-On with OpenID

"Single sign-on" or "single sign-on registration or "authentication" refers to procedures that allow users to log in with the help of a user account with a provider of single sign-on procedures (e.g a social network), also with our online offer. A prerequisite for single sign-on authentication is that the user is registered with the respective single sign-on provider and enters the required access data in the online form provided for this purpose, or is already registered with the single sign-on provider and confirm the single sign-on registration via the button.

The authentication takes place directly with the respective single sign-on provider. As part of such authentication, we receive a user ID with the information that the user is logged in to the respective single sign-on provider under this user ID and an ID that we can no longer use for other purposes (so-called “user handle "). Whether additional data is transmitted to us depends solely on the single sign-on procedure used, the selected data releases as part of the authentication and also on which data users have in the privacy or other settings of the user account with the single sign On providers have released. Depending on the single sign-on provider and the choice of the user, it can be different data, usually the e-mail address and the user name. The password entered as part of the single sign-on procedure at the single sign-on provider is neither visible to us nor is it stored by us.

Users are asked to note that their information stored by us can be automatically compared with their user account with the single sign-on provider, but this is not always possible or actually takes place. For example, if the user's e-mail address changes, they must change it manually in their user account with us.

If agreed with the users, we can use the single sign-on registration as part of or before the fulfillment of the contract, insofar as the users have been asked to do so, process it within the framework of consent and otherwise use it on the basis of our legitimate interests and those of the interests of the users in an effective and secure registration system. If users decide that they no longer want to use the connection to their user account with the single sign-on provider for the single sign-on process, they must cancel this connection within their user account with the single sign-on provider. If users want to delete their data from us, they must cancel their registration with us.

§3 Cookies

highfivve uses cookies to make visiting our website attractive and to make it easier for you to use certain functions. These are small text files that are stored on your hard drive or temporary memory and that save certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser.
Most of the cookies we store are deleted after the end of the browser session (so-called session cookies). In this way we can optimize our website, improve content or personalization and simplify use. Session cookies are cookies that are only stored on your computer for the duration of an internet session and are required, for example, to process a purchase.

Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Most browsers accept cookies by default. In the security settings of your browser, you can independently allow or prohibit temporary and permanent cookies. If you disable cookies, certain features on our website may not be available to you and some web pages may not display properly.
Information on browser settings can be found at:

Cookies may also be stored on your end device by third parties via our websites. You can prevent these cookies from being set by deactivating the acceptance of third-party cookies in your internet browser.

Only pseudonymous data is stored in the cookies we use. When the cookie is activated, an identification number is assigned to it and your personal data is not assigned to this identification number. Your name, your IP address or similar data that would enable the cookie to be assigned to you will not be placed in the cookie. Based on the cookie technology, we only receive pseudonymous information, for example about which content was accessed, etc.

§5 usage analysis by highfivve

Google Analytics

In order to constantly improve and optimize our offer, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google" on our website. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and enable Google to analyze the use of our offer.
The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, place and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, is usually transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there.
We use Google Analytics with the addition "_gat._anonymizeIp" on our website. In this case, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thereby made anonymous, which does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your identity. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on Google's behalf.
According to their own statements, Google will under no circumstances associate your IP address with other Google data.
Google has committed to comply with the Privacy Shield Agreement between the European Union and the United States published by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and storage of personal data from the member states of the EU. Google has declared through certification that it adheres to the relevant Privacy Shield principles.
You agree to the processing of the data collected about you by Google and the manner of data processing described above and the named purpose.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case you can if applicable not use all functions of our website in full.
Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation add-on for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over what data Google collects about the websites you visit. The add-on tells the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) that no information about the website visit should be sent to Google Analytics. However, the deactivation add-on for browsers from Google Analytics does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services we may use. Further information on installing the browser add-on is available via the following link:
If you visit our site via a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), you must click this link instead to prevent future tracking by Google Analytics within this website. This is also possible as an alternative to the browser add-on above. By clicking on the link, an opt-out cookie will be set in your browser, which is only valid for this browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, so you will have to click the link again.

The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the standards mentioned expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.
§9 Revocation of your consent to data processing
Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent that you have already given at any time. An informal message by e-mail is sufficient for the revocation data The legality of the data processing that took place up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
